Now somebody has stolen the load of firearms the Queen sent to Carlisle.
Who did it? Where are the guns now?
Sir Robert sets out for Scotland along with Sergeant Henry Dodd and not enough men, hoping to find the guns and also perhaps meet the young Scottish King in Dumfries.
He doesn't know that his sworn enemy, Sir Henry Widdrington, is also on his way to James VI's Court.
