Lies fall by their own weight and Sophie Landers will come to find that out the hard way. Running away from one lie will lead her to more lies and also to Tom Rosenthal, the man who will steal her heart, only to find herself running again, but this time from him. After a horrific tragedy Tom's life was consumed by work. His mother's plea for his well-being touched a nerve so he decides to take a vacation break just to please her. His company jet is ready for takeoff, but his 'favorite personal' flight attendant Alisa, is nowhere to be found. Sophie's flight has been delayed; she learns about Rosenthal's jet leaving and sneaks in pretending to cover for Alisa. As the flight is on its way, Tom notices her lack of knowledge about stewardship. When the aircraft lands in Mexico, he finds out that indeed, she is pretending to be a flight attendant.

Displeased about being taken for a fool, he decides he will teach her a lesson, and he comes up with a plan to make the beauty pay for her audacity. What he didn't anticipate was that by doing so, he would find himself fighting a battle against his heart with his captive polizon.
