We live in a very wicked world, a world with an escalation of wickedness especially as the devil knows that his time is short. As you open the pages of newspapers each day, all you see is the multiplication of evil. As you watch national network news or cable network news, you hear much about multiplied evil. This is a result of the fact that the devil knows his time is short.
Every day, we see things, things so terrible; we hear news, bad news; and read evil reports, so evil that even the heart of the strong can shake, and even the heart of the bold can be moved.
We heard a story that people were worshiping on a Sunday morning and agents motivated from the pit of hell went in there and killed the people, including two professors. Bad news! Terrible news!
In times like this, when people perpetuate evil with impunity, does it mean there is no hope for God's people? No.
Is there hope for God's people? Yes!
Are the people of God meant to perish like chickens? No!
In this book we are looking at a few important and necessary truths about times like this. The Bible says, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." It implies that what you know, affects the degree of your liberty and security in the spirit.
