"A Sicilian Romance" is a gothic novel by Ann Radcliffe which became the second published work of her. The plot of the novel refers to the house of Mazzini once being a magnificent castle situated on the northern shore of Sicily. The story itself is narrated by a tourist who learns its unexpected and turbulent story from a monk. The novel relates about a life of three Mazini sisters which were destined to pass through all hardships of women's lives.
