The marriage ceremony between the king's daughter, Ayena, and a noble commoner, Sale, was a glorious spectacle. It was during the reception of this marriage that the chief elder of Amara and the king's best friend, Chief Elder Opaku, presented a poisoned special wine as a toast to the newly married couple. Everyone including the king, King Kasi, died except for the king's twin daughters, Leona and Leone; Chief Elder Opaku had his revenge.
The new king, King Opaku, guided Amara into a more prosperous empire and won the people's love. After a year in bondage, Leona and Leone escaped to the land of the underworld with the help of their caretaker, Aba. There the twin sisters found the answers they sought: the truth of their identities and the secrets of Amara.
Five years on, but King Opaku still yearned for revenge. When all was peaceful for the people living in the land of the underworld, he launched a surprise attack on them with his newfound power. With Queen Amara, Leona, Leone and Leon leading the resistance against King Opaku and his army, they must fight for their survival or be destroyed by the king's burning desire for vengeance.
