Arthur "Weegee" Fellig is a legendary name among photographers. He earned his unique niche in photojournalism with his graphic nighttime photos of crime scenes. He crashed in an unkempt flat near New York Police headquarters in Manhattan. From there he worked nights while most photographers were sleeping. He vividly chronicled the aftermaths of murders, rapes and fires. Eventually Weegee was in big demand for Hollywood and fashion projects offered him by film studios and magazines.
