Once Alexandra's mother and gran are both gone, she finds herself alone in small town Australia, yearning to learn who she really is. Colin has a keen interest in history, in fact he is a professor in the same part of England that may hold the answers Alexandra seeks. His social skills are nearly as lacking as his chance travel companion's are, and the sparks begin to fly straight away. His failed marriage taught him to be true to himself and deal with problems when they happen, even if the problem is an attractive woman who seems to delight in being difficult. And for someone who thinks the past is way better than the present, there's only one way to deal with naughty young women.
