Published in 1891, Autobiography of John G. Fee, Berea, Kentucky describes various incidents that epitomize Fee's experience as an abolitionist in the South, beginning with his religious conversion in early childhood. The text details his beliefs, his role in founding Berea, and the obstacles he surmounted, including forced exile in Ohio at the hands of pro-slavery forces.
