Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet

**Material:**

1,75 oz / 50 g yarn in 2 colors ¿ e.g. Wolle Roedel Soft Merino in the colors lavender and white, DK / 8ply (109 yds/1.75 oz or 100m / 50g)
(you may, of course, also use any other type of yarn and crochet hook in matching size)
Crochet hook size H-8 / 5 mm and I-9 / 5,5 mm
Measuring tape
Tapestry needle for sewing in the ends

**Gauge:**

4 in x 4 in = 18 stitches x 24 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm

The stitch pattern described here can easily be adjusted to different hat sizes and yarn weights so that the indicated gauge is merely an indication.
