Francis Bacon was a great English philosopher and one of the founders of the modern system of political philosophy. Francis Bacon's APOLOGIES was published in 1604, after the succession of James I, to defend his proceedings in the case of Essex since Essex had contributed and supported James to succeed to the seat. The essay is regarded as one of the most important legal writings by Bacon and is seen as an effort by Bacon who attempted to express his views about the legal systems of England and put his influence on building the systems in a theoretical way.
