Christina Rossetti (1830-1894) - was an English poet who wrote more than 60 sonnets. The genre of the poems by Rossetti varies from romantically to poems for children. Her most famous works are `Goblin Market' and `Remember'. `Goblin Market' is a controversial poem by Christina Rossetti that was supposed to be read by children but faced criticism concerning the erotical content of the poem. The initial publication of the book contented the illustrations by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the poet's brother. The poem tells us about two sisters who meet two goblins one day while getting water from a stream.
