This is an anecdotal account of the life of Edmund Francis Higgins (1865 - 1915) who was an American preacher who worked in the lumberjack camps of Minnesota. These were very rough places full of tough men who worked hard, played hard, drank hard. and lived hard. He did his best to take care of their spiritual needs and was a friend to all. He was nicknamed 'Pilot'.
