Laura Kingsley is devastated by the death of her favorite aunt. She resists her fiance's pleas to remain for his ordination as pastor of his father's church and drives to the mountain community to settle her aunt's estate. Learning more about her aunt's life and finances than she realized. She also discovers her uncle, estranged from her aunt for years, robbed a bank and went to prison for twenty years.
