Is Christianity good for you? An interesting question when we consider that so much of Western culture is largely founded upon Christian thought and beliefs, and that Christianity is still a potent, if in many cases an indirect, influence upon how we live our lives. If Christianity is good for people as individuals, then it follows that it is likely to be good for them as a society. And if Christianity is good for society, then it follows that it is likely to be good for the individuals who make up society. So when we ask Is Christianity good for you? we mean is it good for you the reader and for me the writer, and at the same time is it good for the society of which you and I are a part?
