New poetry from Michael Fitzgerald is always a treat, and this volume is no exception. To quote one reviewer "I will be very pleased to see these poems available in print as they contribute valuable insights to a growing body of literature that illuminates how the Faith touches and informs contemporary life. May we add our commendation and appreciation for Michael's beautiful poems, a fitting response to 'Abdu'l-Bahá's "encouragement of eloquence of expression, beauty of sense and sweetness of composition."
This is Michael's twentieth book of poetry, and he has also written nonfiction and children's literature. He studied at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, Earlham College and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, [Michael Fitzgerald] received an Ackerman Nicholson Fellowship and Garrabrandt Poetry Medallion.
