No Time to Waste explores the aftermath of No Time to scream.
Some things hadn't changed at all. The sun still came up every morning and set every night. It rained sometimes, though not much, and yet even that was normal, for this time of year. The nights were cool and the days were hot. Winds were light for the most part, and carried beautiful billowy white clouds across the sky. If one wanted to, it was easy to imagine everything was perfect.
The air was clearer than anyone could remember and the grass and trees were all a vibrant green. It was only a couple of months since the happening, but in that time mother nature began her reclamation of the earth.
The lack of songbirds was still unnerving, as was the incessant sound of the wind in the trees.
Was this really one of Canada's largest Cities?
