Sanderson's Hill

*  "Logan walks slowly up to the farm house.....The front door is wide open,  and swinging wildly back and forth....Bang! Bang!....Spooking Warrior.... and giving Logan goose bumps." *Logan Kincaid is a bounty hunter, an anomaly in her own time. She's carries a six gun on her right hip, that has gained her a reputation, one that she's not fond of, and wants to change. Down inside she desires a life of stability, and a family, like other women her age. But it's a life that eludes Logan, because she's a bounty hunter.

   Logan joins up with fellow bounty hunter and lover Gavin Sloan again, to hunt down those responsible for the terrible destruction, and death she witnessed earlier at the Johnson farm. She learns from Gavin the ones accountable, are Bailey Hogg and his gang of murderous henchmen. Logan and Gavin decide it's best for them to hunt them together, but get they sidetracked.

  Enter into Logan's life John and Catherine Sanderson, owners of the sprawling Sanderson's Hill Ranch.  A special bond quickly develops between Logan and the Sandersons. John and Catherine's daughter died four years ago, and they take an instant liking to Logan. Hired to catch cattle rustlers, along with Gavin, John gains so much confidence in Logan, he teaches her to run the ranch, putting her in charge of the entire operation. It's here, that she and the Sandersons develop a steadfast love for each other, that becomes family.  Where Logan becomes fiercely loyal to them, like a daughter would. 

  Life is good for Logan and Gavin on the ranch, and they've all but forgotten about hunting Bailey Hogg. Until that fateful day, when Hogg and his gang ride into Rio Doso. They rob the bank and shoot up the town. They kill the sheriff, wound John in the shoulder, and almost kill Gavin in the process.

  As Gavin lays near death in the doctors office, Logan is left with the reality that she may loose him forever. She knows that she is the only one left in Rio Doso to stop Hogg and his gang. A precarious situation, that could could cost Logan her life, just when she seems to have everything she's always wanted and desired.
