With the planet Beredul liberated, the Wiyert and the humans from Earth celebrate their first victory against the fadohlbut at a cost. The fadohl now suspect the existence of an enemy. And they must never know the location of that enemy, since Earth's defenses consist of two stolen AI ships and a ragged band of Wiyert armed with salvaged weapons.
How can the Earth humans hope to defeat the advanced technology of the galaxy-spanning fadohl?
