When I was just twenty years old, I was a highly motivated individual.
I started my own business when I was twenty and have been self-employed my entire adult life.
One of the firs books I have ever read as a young entrepreneur was "The Art Of Public Speaking", and "How To Win Friends And Influence People" both By Dale Carnegie".
You see, I at such a young age had to speak to people much older than me. This took a lot of self-confidence and motivation. Therefore, I read Carnegie's book "The Art Of Public Speaking."
I will have to say, even in today's world, this amazing book has a lot top teach anyone that needs to learn how to present their selves properly when speaking in front of just one person or an entire audience of people.
Weather you work for a company, or you are in sales, or an entrepreneur, this books is full of timeless information.
You see, although technology is changing every day, human nature does not change.
However, with today's highly technical environment, such as people are so self-consumed with their cell phones, their computers, and with the birth of the internet, most will agree that we are becoming more disconnected from society.
Therefore, a book like this I believe everyone and anyone within the business world, needs to read this so that they can absorb the basic understanding and the basic speaking principals that they have either forgotten over time or that they have never been thought.
Even the Millennium's of today, and the internet entrepreneurs need a copy of this timeless book.
About Dale Carnegie
A pioneer in neuro-scientific self-help, Dale Carnegie distilled his experiences as a salesman and lecturer in his first guide to speech-making that is successful The Art of Public Peaking. This predecessor to his bestseller, How to Win Friends and Influence People, ended up being co-written with J. B. Esenwein.
