Barry Eric Odell Pain (Sep 28, 1864 - May 5, 1928) was an English journalist, poet and writer. Born in Cambridge, and educated at the university, he became a prominent contributor to "The Granta". He was known as a writer of parody and lightly humorous stories. The Conundrums is a short story by Barry Pain, included in "Eliza". The plot follows a simple British man, who bought a book of conundrums at the station stall in all innocence. But because of his wife, Eliza, he would have to wreck his head not in the way he intended to. Just like it always happens. What would be the greatest conundrum faced by our hero?
