In this work, Dr. Jenkins takes a fresh look at the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Ephesians exploring its dominant theme - "The Church as the body of Christ," also called "The Church of Christ." We will also look at several sub-themes or theological themes such as Divine Election, Reconciliation, and of course, The Church. Paul encourages all believers to walk worthy of the calling of God in Christ Jesus, to live holy in this present world for we are seated in heavenly places with Him.

It is shown that the believer in Jesus Christ has been granted all of the riches that God has prepared for those who love Him - that is, all of the riches of heaven belong to the children of God. One cannot be poor and be a child of God - poor in worldly possessions, maybe, but rich because of salvation through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Chapter One shows that we have "blessings involving the Father (vv. 4-6); blessings involving the Son (vv. 7-12); and. blessings involving the Spirit (vv. 13-14).

This is such a powerful, eye-opening, and encouraging letter that the reader will be challenged to seek God's deeper things through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The life and ministry principle taught in this Epistle is that believers are heirs to the blessings (wealth), and the responsibilities (the walk) of their calling in Christ.

John Calvin called this book to the Ephesians his favorite book of the Bible. John Knox requested the sermons of Calvin on Ephesians be read to him, while he was on his deathbed.

Samuel Coleridge called it "The Divine Composition of Man." Others have called it the "Crowning Jewel" or "Capstone" of Paul's theology.

This book of six chapters is truly the powerhouse for all who believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of worshippers since the time of its writing. You don't want to miss this writing as it will be a life-changer for you, as well.
