Nicholas Nickleby; or, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby" is a novel by Charles Dickens. It revolves around the life and exploits of Nicholas Nickleby, a young man who takes it upon himself to support his mother and sisters after the death of his father. It was originally published as a serial between 1838 and 1839, and was Dickens's third novel. Charles John Huffam Dickens (1812 - 1870) was a seminal English author. Dickens created many of the world's most famous fictional characters, and is considered to be the greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
