Father Mat McDougal, a former police detective who is now a parish priest in Miami, Florida, is suddenly thrust into a frightening and dangerous adventure when he is "volunteered" to help Pope Peter Sixtus recover a stolen scroll. After the missing half of the scroll was discovered in St. Peter's Cave-Church in Antakya, Turkey, it was painstakingly pieced together by the Vatican, but the revelations contained in the original gospel written by Luke the Apostle close to two thousand years ago are nothing less than earth shattering..... Though he suffers great personal loss, ironically, the handsome Father Mat McDougal's sinful and lustful weakness for beautiful women turns out to be a blessing in disguise.
