A caravan of forty camels, and their camel drivers travel through the hot desert. All of the camels carry heavy loads on their backs. That is, except for the youngest camel. He loves to travel alongside his mother, and the other camels. He finds it fun, despite the heat, and the scorching sand.
The youngest camel has a lot to learn about the world around him. The camels, including his mother, consider him a baby. She believes that he needs to learn about how things really are, instead of the idealised version that the youngest camel holds in his mind. But he takes offense at this. He wants to prove that he is older. And he wants to prove to her that his version of how things are, is so much better than the bleak outlook that his mother has. And so the youngest camel decides to venture out on his own. He has a few grand adventures, gets to meet all sorts of interesting characters, and learns a few lessons while out on his own.
