Marceil and I had been married for sixty years, minus five months. Both of us worked in public jobs. Cooking, cleaning, buying groceries, we did everything together. We were very close in our married life. All things must come to an end. In 2006, Marceil had heart trouble. She lived for six more years. The day came when my son and I had to give her up. We had laid her to rest, everyone had gone home, and I was alone in the house that we had so loved. As I walked through the rooms that night, I could hear no sound. It was the time when we could sit down and talk. No more would I hear her voice. As I walked through the rooms, I felt that somebody was there with me. I knew who he was. We had been following him our entire life. The good shepherd began to speak comforting words to my aching heart. From his words, he told me in what direction to go and what to do. Even though I have retired, you never retire from doing what God has spoken to you. Obedience is the key that brings the joy of his divine presence within your life. The main message for this book is to help someone find peace in losing the one person they were meant to love. Heavily Christian-based, but the morals and tone of the book are very much to help someone understand the passing process.
