Looking different can be painful. Leah has a birthmark on her face and is embarrassed and hurt by the attention it receives. She seeks the solitude of the creek behind her house and instead encounters a young unicorn. The unicorn also has a spot on its face and understands her pain. Together they devise a plan to encourage sensitivity from others. Through the process, they gain confidence and friends.
