Jasper fell off the Morgan Manner high school building to his death. A suspected accident? Suicide? Murder? That was sixteen years ago, and sixteen years to-date on the anniversary a psychopathic killer murders for the first time.

The victim is the daughter of Pastor Ira Hovey, a friend of Jasper's, and member of the Crew. The Crew: six survivors of Jasper's death, bonded through friendship, and now survival against a knife-wielding murderer hunting their loved ones.

Then there is another murder, and a crewmember, now Detective Lacy Copeland realizes it is not a coincidence that each victim is linked to Jasper. The killer is targeting and stalking fellow crewmembers loved ones one-by-one. Eventually, they themselves could be next.
Through the chaotic order of his life, friend's lives, he tries to piece together a motive for the killings and identify who is stalking and killing victims. But time is not on his side. The worst is yet to come. The maniac, named Slasher by the media, is getting closer to home. Because now his wife is targeted, his daughter is missing, and the only way to find her is to uncover the terrifying truth about the friends he is working to save. The problem is, Detective Copeland can't cross one m off as a suspectthe killer's list of a hatred that runs deep, carries a blade, and may be a crewmember in his face.
