Wake 'N Break Volume 1: 30 Drum Grooves To Start Your Day

There is no better way to start your day than waking up and doing something you love, so when drummer and percussionist, Andrew McAuley presented himself with the task of creating a new drum groove every single morning, he soon found himself having a more positive outlook, both on and off of the drum set. In hopes that other drummers may benefit from a similar routine, Andrew decided to take all of the grooves from his online Wake 'n Break video series and compile them into a series of instructional books. The drum breaks in the series range from heavy and trashy sounding "boom bap" back beats to Brazilian and Afro-Cuban influenced drum breaks, with several of them featuring non-traditional instruments/sounds. Each installment in the series covers thirty original drum breaks, complete with notation, in depth explanations, and live links to the corresponding videos.
