LA lecture est un outil qui vous permettra de lire une partition sans tablature, de visualiser et de connaitre les notes sur votre manche de guitare. Cela vous aidera à analyser différentes mélodies ou solos. Ainsi, vous pourrez déchiffrer toutes partitions pour guitare ou autres instruments.

Pour travailler cette méthode, utilisez un métronome, travaillez lentement, revenez sur certains exercices qui vous semblent difficiles, et fractionnez en plusieurs parties les exercices plus longs. L'apprentissage par choeur n'est pas obligatoire.Travaillez régulièrement tous les jours, dix minutes suffiront à vous faire progresser.
