Mobilization encompasses all activities necessary for the orderly transition of active and ANGUS/USAFR forces from a peacetime to wartime posture. The War and Mobilization Plan, Volume 6 (WMP-VI), covers transitioning the industrial base from a normal state of peacetime preparedness to wartime production postures (also see Joint Pub 1-02).
