A Beautiful Rose includes poems that were written based on Yvonnes personal experiences. Within these pages, she gives insight on key relationships in her life. Yvonne used empathy in some of her poems. The poem Homeless is a great example of this. When young women read Yvonnes poetry, she hopes that they realize how beautiful and special they are regardless of unfavorable circumstances.
