Nazi Germany, 1942.

Stalingrad has fallen to the Axis powers after a bitter, brutal campaign; in North Africa, Field Marshal Rommel's Afrika Korps has emerged victorious; Rangoon has been seized by the Japanese after their capture of Singapore.
