A Day's Work

Eric looked at his watch, it was 4:15 and he was supposed to meet Sandy at the beach in a half hour. His work loomed before him like the Great Wall of China. He had to make a decision as what to do since his boss had not been happy with his work performance as of late. His mind searched for an answer when his phone rang. He shook his head knowing Sandy had a 6th sense about things. He looked at his work again and then lifted the phone to his ear.
"Yes my Love." He answered.
"You're not going to make it again are you?" Sandy sighed.
"I am sorry, I am bogged down at work and I am not sure if I can take a break right now. I know we discussed this, however" Eric sighed. It had been so long since he had felt Sandy against him the way he wanted her.
"However, Glen will be pissed if your work is not on time. I understand. Just get done as fast as you can and we can meet in the middle somewhere for dinner." Sandy understood far too well about the importance of Eric's job. She just wished sometimes he could take a break and smell her roses.
"I am really sorry Sandy. I will make it up to you. I should be done around 8 pm."
"I will be on my way then. We will have a nice dinner and maybe a surprise after." Sandy smiled into the phone. She had already knew that Eric's work would take him away from her and the beach would not happen that day. With her mindset she had already booked a hotel downtown for them to slip off to after dinner if they made it that long without her enjoying his touch on her body.
