Humans have an insatiable yearning for remembrance. Somehow, the idea of going down without a last shotthe idea of losing to life and to timeunsettles us. Hence, a yearning to leave a mark is born, along with our desire to be remembered by our children and grandchildren. We find comfort that some part of us will live even after we are called for, and so this memoir, A Letter to My Son was inspired.
About the Author
Author Tahsinur Chowdhury wrote A Letter to My Son as a memoir, to share stories about his parents who lived in British India and later in Bangladesh; his childhood years in Bangladesh; events that occurred in his family; and his own life experiences in the US. He studied engineering and computer science and has worked in the US for several years. When he's not writing, Tahsinur enjoys music, poetry, and comedy.
