A Maiden's Hell

Erica Colt, to the outside world is a picture of perfection. She is beautiful, easy going, well mannered, has a firm religious background, and from a young age has grown to be quite popular. but what people didn't realize was that all of the other traits that she had meant nothing, for inside she was tormented, by a secret that she was forced to keep throughout the duration of her life. This secret that she held so deep inside would eventually seep out and ruin her and everthing that people adored about her. Erica was being abused. It started out as nothing at first, a gentle grasp of the hand, a playful swat from behind, but in time it had grew to effect every aspect of her social life.
She found herself lonely, with no one to turn to, to trust confide inand eventually to date. This seclusion was fine with her, that was until one day she would find herself falling in love. then everything changed. while she was holding back the truths of her past, her boyfriends found themselves walking on eggshells around her scared to have said the wrong thing or have done something wrong. This ruined most of her relationships leaving poor erica alone again to ride out the storm. Erica had found herself faced with another prblem, though much different from the abuse, but still just as damaging. While Erica was off trying to court boys, her best friend Samantha was falling in love with her. It was Samantha whom was one of the only ones who knew of Erica's poweful secret, but still it was her obsession that would eventually take everything bad out of her life, but with the bad also went the good as well.
