In "A Shot of Revenge," rising rap star, Jade "Jadadonna" Tamzin, finds herself in grave danger when threatening notes start to appear, threatening the life of her unborn child. The last thing she expects is for her assistant to bring her former best friend, now FBI agent, Ben Croft, to her door.

Ben is hesitant to get involved, having not spoken to Jade in years after a falling out, but his sense of duty and loyalty to his friend rears its head when he least expects it. As he delves deeper into the investigation, Ben discovers a web of deceit and corruption that puts both his and Jade's lives in peril.
