A Simple Act of Kindness

Candace Crenshaw has made great strides coping with her grief in the nearly four years since her husband's sudden death, and at the urging of her support group as well as a very special patient at the hospital, she sets out to create a scrapbook in honor of him for their children. The project brings the family together in wondrous ways as Candace celebrates Dean's life and shows her children how special their father was. So why is there still a feeling of unease in her heart that she can't quiet define? It might be time to confront her shaken relationship with God. What could be wrong? How will this affect her quilting? At the hospital, a donation of land sparks a heated debate on how it should be used.
