You can never achieve anything in life except you want it, crave for it and then make a conscious effort towards making it work. You can never have that body you always wanted to have by mere wishing it. It can only be achieved by getting your mind right, easing off stress, eating the right kinds of foods and doing some physical activities. Only then will your body be turned to a fat burning machine. Your body is meant to burn fat not store fat. You look sexy in your cloths and most importantly, look healthy. Your skin will glow, your hair will shine and then you become the envy of others.

My typical breakfast was white bread with beverages and sugar. I would usually take that and rush off to work. Sometimes I would even skip breakfast. By eleven AM, the familiar call starts which renders me powerless. I was craving more sugary meals. As usual, i would give in to the temptation and eat more sugar.

As a nutritionist, i knew the dangers associated with eating sugar. Even though my parents were suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, but then i was powerless. I was addicted to sugar and had no control over it. Those processed junk foods were my favorite. I ate foods i was not supposed to eat and felt helpless to improve my life.

I was obese, sometimes breathless, having some lower back pains. My clothes were not fitting. My energy, health and motivation were on all time low. I was depressed and always sick. After a few years of fighting one sickness or the other, i decided to live. I knew i could get my health back. I started working on my mind. The mind is the first thing to conquer whenever you want to set new goals. Once the mind is conquered and set, the healing processes will start. I had to quickly set up some body and food goals. I gave myself sometime to adjust to the new changes. After a few weeks of adjustment to the new healthy lifestyle changes, I worked so hard to achieve and maintain a healthy body. Week after week, I lost some pounds and was so happy with myself.

I decided to live and took one step at a time. The healing processes were not quick and easy but i was positive throughout the journey. My body needed to go through some detoxification processes. This was to ensure my organs were ready
