Knight Publishing Co. of Los Angeles, California ran into a hornet's nest during smut sweeps carried out in Union County, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In Albany, New York there was a campaign against art magazines which targeted such offensive titles as Art and Sunbathing, Color Pix, Art Photography and Photo Arts.
