Adam's Fall - Book One

Next, we have "The Dark Depths", in which a young and academically gifted undergrad; a learned ex-cop; and a Japanese heiress; all have one thing in common¿ A recently unearthed tome called the "Book of Witches"¿ A book with a previously undeciphered incantation that could mean tyranny, suppression, and a complete loss of independence if it is invoked¿ Especially for men.

Finally, comes, "A Long and Permanent Fall", in which the wife of an affluent man leaves him for another after twenty-years and tells him by way of a note explaining they are transferring to her company's office in Berlin and have already flown to Germany. Devastated by this totally unexpected bombshell he finds himself alone in his Dulwich home with the live-in East African housekeeper his wife had employed a year or so before leaving. A large and powerful woman who has plans for him¿ Plans that do not include his freedom!
