The growing educated youths were becoming agitated with the lack of jobs everywhere and then came COVID-19 Pandemic. The coronavirus shattered the lean economy, laying off millions of workers and slashing the salary of those that outsmart artificial intelligence. This economic hardship caused over 500,000 youths in Ghana to start a movement with the hashtagFixTheCountryand called on their brothers to speak.
In Nigeria, El'merjeed Muh'd Gimi comments, "You can graduate from the university and embark on looking for employment until you forget the course you studied."
In South Africa, Mmi Rwa comments, "You pay expensive fees and spend years in tertiary only to become jobless after graduation. Blame ANC."
In Kenya, Weldonia Abdul comments, "Being jobless is a job of its own."
In Egypt, Sa'eed Muhammad comments, "In our area, young graduates can even form a small country."
In Malawi, Chisome Emmanuel comments, "Our parents told us that education is the key, lo-and-behold, our political leaders have changed the padlock."
In Cameroon, Raymond Ngwa comments, "Since I graduated from the university, it's been three years and I have had no job related to the course I studied. I've been into odd jobs and that's what's keeping me. Cameroon needs to be fixed."
As much as I stand with the FixTheCountry movement, our problem is that we finish school not knowing how to make money. The school trains us to look for a job and then money will come. So if no job, no money. Yet, the next phase is to make money and start a family.
Here's the good news. Everyone has the power to get wealth, regardless of no school or no job. Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Aliko Dangote, Kwame Despite, and any rich person used their time to develop skills based on their talent to (Produce fruit... Increase the fruit... Distribute the fruit... Dominate the marketplace with the fruit) to get their money. A man is poor because he's unfruitful, that's, he produces nothing, therefore has nothing to exchange for wealth at the marketplace.
You too have the time to develop skills base on your talent to produce fruit to get your money. Discover the wisdom.
