Colin first came to Aquitaine in the southwest of France in January 1994 to start the renovation of a friend's property.This is the tale of his transition from leaving North Wales ten years later, and settling in the Dordogne department region of France.The story covers the highs-and-lows of his first twelve months as "a not very permanent resident."
