An Intuitive Touch

The air in the lab was thick with the heady scent of ethanol and botanicals. Carefully, I watched the droplets of condensation clinging to the glass. I was drunk out of my mind, but for some reason, it just felt right to be doing this.

"Just a few more adjustments, a touch more heat," I mumbled.

'And then my solution will be complete.'

I was working on something very fragile. It had taken me months to extract enough samples from the frogs to make this concoction. But now that I had the flask cooling before me, there was just one problem.

I needed a test subject. The lab had denied human testing, and I was stuck at this crucial phase.

'What do I do? Should I drink it?'

Before moving to Kansas, Geoff McCue was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Blessed with seven brothers and three sisters, his early life was always an adventure.
