An Unlikely Friendship

Immerse yourself in this tale of an unlikely friendship that forms between two very different personalities. After a series of misadventures, Indlulamithi, a lonely giraffe, meets Umzwilili, a hyperactive humming bird. Together they overcome the dangers of the African bushveld and find true friendship along the way. This is a story that teaches us that even if we are very different from one another, we can still live in peace and harmony.
Jungle Theatre Company is an NPO that creates and performs theatre based on African folktales for children. Drawing on our diverse cultural heritage they find connections to our environment and human nature making theatre that brings together music, dance, masks, puppets, clowning and multi lingual storytelling.
