While the market for American decorative ceramics is relatively young, especially when compared to those of traditional antiques, it's been 40 years since the landmark exhibition The Arts and Crafts Movement in America first put the material on the map. During that span markets for some American companies came and went, while select others have seen almost a continuous upward spiral. This brief article will describe some of those disparities and explain why they exist.
