Anxious Love

Emerging author Donnell Lay publishes a collection of different genres from thriller to slice of life titled Anxious Love and Why I Got Detention.

Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, February 20th 2024 Donnell Lay announces the publication of Anxious Love and other short stories. These stories include slice of live, romance and thriller. The collection will release on December, 2025 for $2.99, everywhere eBooks are sold.

"Anxious Love" is the romance slice of life story of the collection. It follows a young woman named Zena as she goes on vacation with her friend and family. The story follows her as she struggles to overcome her anxiety to talk to a guy, she thinks is cute.

"Frozen Dream" is a mystery thriller about a young man trying to figure out his own identity and purpose in life. The man is nameless to match the lack of identity he has. He talks to three individual people across multiple different places on his quest to understand himself.

"Why I got Detention" is a slice of life story about a young girl dealing with the pressure of being bullied and trying to deal with her own growing frustration.

Donnell Lay is an up-and-coming screenwriter who specializes in thrillers and slices of life stories. He is currently in Full Sail University pursuing a BFA in Creative Writing. He will later pursue his bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy.
