Artie, an android and Neo (from The Matrix) look-alike, gains consciousness and ultimately rebels against his owners. Before that happens, he is subjected to an interrogation by his manufacturer in order to ascertain if Artie's professed "self-awareness" is indeed true. No longer wishing to be used as the "eight wonder of the world," Artie composes what he calls My Manifesto, a farewell note to his owners where he expresses his feelings and the reasons for his rebellion, and explains why he wishes to be free. And the reasons, as you will discover, are all too human.
