Violet and Roman's paths have crossed twice before, but it was now, this third time when both were adults that the stakes had been raised.
The pandemic threw Violet's world into chaos, her parents moved abroad, her boyfriend became obsessed with conspiracy theories and now she has to leave the flat she rents forcing her to uproot and move into the holiday home her grandparents left her.
Then Violet's path once again crosses with Roman. But if ever there was a time for Violet to stay away, it was now. She still felt that sparks fly anytime she was near him, but this time it was even more complicated. Roman came with a whole other life.
Violet knows that when sparks fly it's only a matter of time before someone is bound to get burned and that there is only one way that this can end.
