A resilient sales manager, Derek Moss, never thought he'd lead the defence of a remote ranch outside the Northern Ontario city of Sudbury. As civilization crashes down at the height of a brutal Canadian winter and leaves the survivors reeling in the ashes of their fallen nation, these few are all that stand in the path of those who dive into the chaos... and stepping aside is not a risk any are willing to take.
