God programmed us for marriage because it is His satisfactory answer to loneliness. "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him"(Genesis 2:18 KJV); It is also a Precondition for Wholeness, "Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created" (Genesis 5:2 KJV). It is for reinforcement of strength, ideas, power, knowledge and wisdom needed for the defeat of oppositions and excellence in life (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12). Marriage is the only institution commanded to multiply, replenish and subdue the earth. In other words, it is a precondition for multiplication, dominion and control, (Genesis 1: 26-28). In any case, it reminds us of our union with Christ, (Eph 5: 22-25) and demonstrates maturity, (Mark 10: 7).
God's design for us is to be married. It is worrisome that some are either not getting married or their marriage is delayed especially on the part of women. The rate is alarming contrary to some years back. As we have seen, this is not the plan of God.
Research has shown that there are several causes for delay in marriage. That is exactly what I shared here in this book. They are generally grouped into two: natural and spiritual. Here is a book you will never regret having. Remain blessed.
